What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animation Artist position at Pixomondo?
We have a great new opportunity for an Animation Artists to join our team here at Pixomondo Germany working on a flexi basis from our Stuttgart Studio.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of professional working experience and a reel that demonstrates this
- Expert knowledge of animation principles and creature animation
- Excellent knowledge in Maya
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization and communication skills (fluent in English and/or German)
- Ability to manage time and priorities tasks to succeed under tight deadlines
- Enjoy being part of a team to collaborate, assist others and be willing to share techniques and skills
- Willing to adapt to new workflows and tools
- A basic understanding of character rigging is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation of outstanding animation for creatures, dididoubles and objects within a shot
- Comprehend and execute direction from Lead Animator or Animation Supervisor
- Demonstrate a board range of animation skills. This includes a deep understanding of the principles of animation, and how to best employ those principles to create performance that supports both the characters and story goals of the show.
- Consistently delivering shots on a high-quality level.
- Meet project deadlines/milestones, as set by production
