Route Delivery Regional Assistant - Jesup, GA

Pizza Wholesale of Lexington is seeking an ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated individual for our Route Delivery Regional Assistant position supporting our Jesup, GA / Albany, GA / Gainesville, GA Districts. Regional Assistants are responsible for servicing our customers weekly with our Pizza, Toppings, and Wings. This position requires travel between districts on a weekly basis. Candidates applying for this position must have a clean MVR, be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card for a minimum of one year, and live within 60 miles of the Jesup, GA warehouse.

This position requires 75% travel.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this opportunity include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with setting up, training and sampling for new customers.
• Working with existing high potential customers to increase business through Strategic Sampling, as well as continued training and retraining of employees as necessary.
• Handle and prepare all of our products.
• Assist District Manager or Account Manager in servicing customers.
• Cleaning up after you leave a store (not leaving tracks with a two-wheeler during rainy weather, breaking down ALL pizza boxes, etc.).
• Traveling when necessary to other Districts within the organization.
• Supporting the Regional Manager as required with special activities.
• Completing all necessary paperwork required in the timeframe established and sending to the appropriate departments accordingly.
• Ensure open communication with your team members.
• Monitoring voicemail and Hunt Brothers ® email consistently throughout the day and periodically after typical working hours ensuring issues are addressed quickly and proactively.
• Making decisions while incorporating our Hunt Brothers Guiding Principles and PWL's Core Values.
• Supporting and implementing all company decisions.
• Overnight travel is required.

Qualifications:

• Prior delivery or driving experience preferred.
• High School diploma.
• Demonstrated customer service ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional image and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Licenses, certification, or registrations required for this position:
• DOT Medical Card with minimum one-year certification.
• Valid operator's license with safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 50% - 75% travel required
• Overnight travel required

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and bend up to 60% of daily work hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a 26,000 lb. GVW truck extended periods of time.
• Must be able to step up into and off of back of truck, 3 feet from ground, repeatedly throughout a day.
• Must be able to deliver product by hand truck; product load can weigh up to 500 lbs.

This is a position that requires "knock your socks off" service as well as the ability to travel between the districts and interact with our customers in the Convenience store Industry. Overnight travel is required with this position.
