The Talent Manager will be responsible for supporting the strategic people initiatives of Plamondon Hospitality Partners (PHP). This individual will provide talent acquisition expertise as well as create and deliver training and coaching. The learning and development will take place through various learning channels, management, leadership, and compliance knowledge training. Delivery could be individualized, classroom, LMS, Skype/webinar or any combination of venues.

Position Objectives:
- Collaborate with PHP to address identified learning gaps with individuals and groups to enhance performance.
- Establish and maintain an environment of learning and development through the associate life-cycle: hourly, promotion, and management assimilation. Work with management on individual development plans.
- Utilize the talent acquisition cycle to source and hire exceptional PHP management talent.
- Responsible for the PHP talent acquisition with hiring and onboarding of managers to the business ensuring all new hire brand-specific training and PHP required training is complete.
- Manage all Marriott and Hilton curriculum for management and hourly staff ensuring 100% compliance with required ongoing training by the hotel brand and PHP.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on learning management system (currently with Peoplematter/Snag) for PHP – offering specific courses to meet development needs.
- Assist, track and facilitate or contract all required certified training such as ServSafe, TiPS, and Pool Operator requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments for PHP position-specific roles through collaboration with the Corporate Support Manager and EVP of Operations. Make recommendations for learning solutions.
- Coordinate and monitor internship and apprenticeship programs; ensuring all learning transfer, mentors, exams, and program details are managed through successful completion of programs.
- Serve as a resource for the coordination of all new PHP hotel opening training ensuring brand-specific and PHP- specific training and standards are received.
- Consult and partner with PHP regarding organizational curriculum delivery of identified compliance courses.
- Coordinate all external leadership development opportunities such as Dale Carnegie courses, and county leadership programs.
- Maintain the annual organizational learning training calendar and budget for all internal and external training opportunities.
- 1 to 2 years experience in talent management from sourcing to onboarding
- 2 to 4 years experience in learning and development including course content development and facilitation
- Coaching and development skills, coaching certification a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certified training credentials a plus
