Contracts Specialist

Planet Fitness World Headquarters is searching for a Contracts Specialist to join our team! 

As our Contracts Specialist, you will be a key member of the Legal Team and will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely contract production and administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and administration of a large volume of franchising contracts and related documents with limited supervision. 
• Track franchising documents and related contracts through their drafting life cycle.
• Learn to independently review changes to form agreements to ensure adherence to regulatory, contract and Company requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely contracts-related information to franchisees and other departments.
• Maintain and update contracts database.
• Support the franchisee compliance communication process.
• Assist with the development and filing of annual Franchise Disclosure Documents.
• Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel.
• Update and maintain files in accordance with Company record retention policy.
• Assist with other legal and contractual matters as well as department projects.
• General administrative responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with contract drafting and review preferred.
• Sense of diligence and ability to multi-task complex assignments within tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Team player with general willingness to get involved.
• Excellent administrative, organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment.
• Ability to proofread work quickly and accurately, attention to detail is a must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Prior experience with Salesforce and/or iManage is a plus.

Compensation:

• $22.00 to $24.00 per hour plus 5% bonus
