COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
● $17.25 base pay, rates are higher depending on experience and credentials

Healthcare: Employee pays approximately $25 per pay period
Vision: Employee pays approximately $4 per pay period
Dental: Employee pays approximately $5 per pay period

POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare, including clinical abortion care, at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● High School Diploma
● Experience in customer service or health care preferred
● CNA/ MA/ EMT certification preferred - Phlebotomy experience a plus
SCHEDULE:
● Monday – Saturday; 40 hours a week, 10 hour shifts
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Consistently demonstrate appropriate service behaviors in interactions with patients and colleagues and practices In this Together and Service Standard values
● Actively contribute to an inclusive workplace culture by working collaboratively as a valued member of the care team
● Proactively work to resolve conflict and perform service recovery, as needed
● Administrative duties include answering phones, making appointments, taking messages, transferring records for patients, and ensuring completion of health center records and required forms
● Perform patient medical and social history intakes and provide education as indicated for the services patients are seeking as directed by supervisor/clinician on duty
● Complete basic lab work and follow procedures as required
● Provide patients with non-judgmental pregnancy options counseling and make referrals for service based on the patient’s choice
● Assist licensed medical staff with the delivery of reproductive and abortion care as needed
● Perform all recordkeeping duties related to patient care with accuracy
● Perform housekeeping and stocking duties as needed
● Complete HIPAA and OSHA training and other training as required
● Travel to other health centers within the affiliate as needed
