Summary:

Nearly 7.5 million consumers receive their benefits through the PlanSource platform, which provides flexible and intuitive software and services for benefits administration.

The Director, Launch is responsible for managing the activation/implementation functions as it relates to the core benefits administration, strategic partnerships and HCM Partnership programs. Core benefits administration customers are groups that utilize basic benefits technology plus services in some cases. Strategic partnerships consist of Associations, Premium customers and large customers. HCM partnerships consist of vendors who are contracted with PlanSource for a 360 integration between their HCM system and the PlanSource Benefits Administration system. This role will lead the organization in establishing appropriate processes and procedures to scale and enable activation success, both internally and externally. You will have regular exposure to senior executives with our customers and partners and will have the opportunity to directly influence and enhance those relationships.

Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Responsible for the successful activation of all launch programs
  • Identify program plan success metrics, as well as mechanisms for gathering and reporting out the metrics at regular intervals
  • Set up Salesforce processes to support the program plan and collaborate with Salesforce developers as necessary to implement these processes
  • Directly manages members/management of the activation teams including: Transitions, Project Management, Benefit Coaches and Configuration
  • Own and manage resources for projects, monitor project progress and manage customer and internal escalations if/when implementations are not on track.
  • Identifies the need for SOPs and works with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and delivered appropriately
  • Be solution oriented while identifying risks of deviating outside of best practices. Be consultative to drive the best operating environment and results from changes for internal and external clients.
  • Define boundaries and project parameters to secure implementation tasks and timelines are doable for the organization.
  • Review and improve interdepartmental processes, and make sure Product Development has visibility into what they need to deliver and associated deadlines.
  • Hold your team accountable for updating standard project plans.
  • Own the successful resolution of any implementation issues, challenges, or questions that arise.
  • Own improvement of the operational process to deliver implementations as evidenced by shrinking cycle time, improving quality and reducing costs to deliver.
  • Drive consistency, best practices and quality of our solutions with an eye towards driving down cycle time and improving speed to value.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Sales to secure resources, ensure collaboration, and inform strategy development.
  • Monitors capacity planning and identifies the need to hire or reduce staff
  • Participates in weekly meetings with HCM partner directors and managers as needed
  • Participates in internal meetings with VP, Directors to review partner feedback, changes to contracted deliverables and understand/convey the support needs of the customers and partners
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

About You:
The ideal candidate for thuis key position will meet the following qualifications:

  • Five years of experience activating customers in HR/Benefits Service technology
  • Three years of experience using HR/ Benefits Service technology
  • Three years of experience managing a team of 10 or more
  • Demonstrated ability to create scale in an organization by creating repeatable, scalable solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong customer service and orientation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Must be able to work outside of normal work hours
