Summary
PlanSource is a high-growth software company headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices in Salt Lake City, Charleston, and Bengalaru.The Director of Partner Account Executives will drive new business development and the sale of PlanSource’s products and services to Reseller Partners brokers, who may be one of either an Employee Benefit Professionals, Brokers, Third Party Administrators, and other partnership channels as directed. In addition to carrying a quota, the Director will also manage a team, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring their team members. As the Director of Partner Account Executives, you will be responsible for leading and building your Partner Account Executive sales team, meeting an annual quota, creating new opportunities, and expanding PlanSource’s Reseller market share in a fast-growing industry. This role is highly visible and important at PlanSource and involves managing your team directly and collaborating with other teams at PlanSource like Marketing, Business Development, Service and Account Management.
You will be well-supported, and our leveraged-sales model gives you access to a strong network of partners so you can hit the ground running. You have a proven track record of developing and closing new business, meeting, and exceeding sales quotas, building and maintaining a strong network, and strong personal impact and presentation skills. You will have successfully led a team to meet and exceed expectations. Our sales cycles are short in the Reseller channel, so you will need to keep several balls in the air at once. You have experience selling complex technology and are comfortable negotiating and presenting to people at all levels in an organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Align our existing reseller sales organization’s objectives with PlanSource’s Reseller sales strategy through active participation in sales planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Oversee sales presentations, issue proposals and other related sales activity necessary to complete the sales process.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and opportunity forecasting for leadership.
- Ensure CRM tools and PlanSource value-selling methodology are leveraged to process and track opportunities.
- Oversee and Drive Negotiations related to Existing Reseller’s pricing and contractual agreements.
- Establish and govern the performance of the sales organization. This includes establishing sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing, and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs and ensuring all key sales team members are held accountable for assigned results. This includes assisting and helping close new or additional business for the team.
- Be a driving force in the success of our Reseller’s company goals by achieving and exceeding individual sales quota and incentive plan components.
- Achieve senior level individual sales targets as defined by the VP Reseller Sales.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or Business Administration
- 10 years of relevant sales and marketing experience.
- Sales leadership experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business.
- Enthusiasm for building, managing, and growing a sales team
- Consistent track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently.
- Proven ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Possesses strong personal impact and presentation skills.
- Persuasive speaking skills and persistent with follow up.
- Strong financial acumen related to product pricing, customer profitability and achieving sales goals.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- This role is a hybrid position.

- The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
- This is a full-time position with typical office hours and additional time as needed.
- Travel by airplanes, trains, and automobiles as needed. May be overnight and extensive at times.
