Sycamore Glen is looking for a reliable and energetic Bus Driver to add to our amazing team.
The position starts at part time with full time potential, hourly wage range is $16.50-18.00. We believe that our staff plays an integral part in keeping Sycamore Glen the leading retirement community in the area.
Our Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring safe driving of the community's vehicles and supervision of the residents during community outings or trips. The Driver will be responsible for cleaning, keeping the vehicles maintained, and ensuring that the vehicles have all necessary supplies. The Driver must maintain both a Class C driver’s license and Class B license with passenger endorsement, all with a clean driving record.
Some other essential duties and responsibilities of our Driver include: providing transportation to the residents for community outings and trips including medical appointments, banking, shopping, worship services, entertainment, and other miscellaneous activities. Running event and community errands as needed. In addition to maintaining mileage logs, keeping the Bus up-to-date on DOT inspections, and any other service or repairs to the vehicles.
Our Driver must have a great personality and enjoy working with seniors. Must be patient, caring and have the ability to do task at a slower pace in order to accommodate all resident’s needs.
