Note: Please note that eight years' lab experience is required and that background needs to be in ELECTRICAL work, NOT electronics.
Education & Experience Required:
Minimum eight years’ lab experience required
Associates or Bachelors in Electronics Technology – preferred
o Technical Associates in Electronics will be considered as two years’ experience
o BS in Electronics will be considered as four years’ experience
Lab experience gained through education will be considered, but must be clear and with durations on resume
Technical Skills
Soldering skills, under a microscope preferred, on a circuit board or equivalent specifically required
Ability to read schematics
Experience with hand tools (drill, prybar, etc)
Experience trouble shooting, repairing, and testing electronics (circuit boards, telematics, etc. ECM not required).
Experience with hyperterminal (PuTTY) for software for testing
Soft Skills
Good organizational skills and an aptitude for complex analytical and detailed work
Ability to prioritize among multiple concurrent projects in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present and share ideas effectively even when not popular
Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, rapidly changing, and culturally diverse environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
