In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our IT projects to success within the established budget, timeline and scope. As an IT Project Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that align with their business needs.
The Position is located in Westminster, CA, 2 days working in the office/field.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources allocation.
- Define project scope and objectives, involving all stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinate and manage project team members, providing guidance, support and fostering collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate project team meetings, ensuring key decisions and action items are documented and communicated to relevant parties.
- Develop a deep understanding of core concepts in data, AI, and machine learning, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
- Conduct thorough exploration and analysis of data to navigate the complex and technical aspects of AI projects. This includes identifying patterns, trends, and insights that contribute to project success.
- Manage and analyze diverse data sources to ensure comprehensive coverage and relevance in AI projects.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience managing IT projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate project team members.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification is preferred, but not required.
- Utility experience preferred.
