About the Position
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work for a client who is an aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its state, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile, and armaments customers throughout the world.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Resolving technical issues
• Preventing NC’s
• Improving work instructions and processes
• Most of time will be spent working in propellant rocket motor production, rest of time will be spent in component manufacturing
• Work closely with production floor, engineering department, supervisors, etc
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Aerospace background is highly recommended
• Must know super alloys and other aerospace materials- how they are machines, cleaned, welded, mechanically joined, and inspected
• Machine knowledge of turning, milling, drilling, tapping, thread milling, 3, 4, 5- axis machining centers
• Must have experience with GD&T and Tight Tolerance Machining
• 4-year mechanical background (or applicable engineering)
• Military experience is a plus

Pay & Benefits
- Pay: Up to $65/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Paid travel expenses to and from job sites (Mileage Reimbursed at $0.625/mile)
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
- Flexibility to take time off between assignments

Additional qualifications for the role include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; Industrial, Electrical, or similar engineering degrees will be considered.
- Ability to perform tasks with little to no supervision
- Ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50 hours/week)
- There are no specific certifications or minimum education requirements for this role
- Must meet drug test requirements
