Position Summary:
The Recovery House Project Assistant provides administrative support to the Recovery House (RH) Initiative and works with the Housing Unit to assist and coordinate daily operations. The position will manage scheduling site visits, and assist with data management, reporting, and daily functions of the RH Initiative and Housing Unit.
The Recovery House Project Assistant is an integral member in the Department of Behavioral Health Intellectual disAbility Services — RH and Housing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily upload of incoming RH referrals
- Fields all calls and emails about RH referrals and questions about the RH Initiative
- Outreaches regarding referrals for specialty programs
- Works with Housing and Homeless data team to compile reports
- Manages schedules for site visits and other meetings
- Reviews Fee for Service for accuracy
- Assists with filling beds
- Assists with HMIS/CEABRS adherence
- Assists with RH Licensing requirements and other DDAP reporting
- Participates in planning activities, work groups, trainings, & presentations
- Participates in job-related meetings, as directed
- Participates in the preparation of reports on a timely basis (or, as directed) regarding activities enumerated above
- Assists with other duties as required
Skills Required:
Working knowledge of the Philadelphia Behavioral Health system and all its components. Ability to connect with all levels within provider agencies, direct services, supervisory and management personnel, and effectively communicate the policy and direction of DBHIDS. Self-motivated, excellent verbal and written communication, excellent organizational ability and knowledge of computers and software are preferred.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma and working on Associates degree, and two years working for a business, non-project or government entity.
