About this Position Primerica Mortgage is a dynamic business with significant growth potential. Our goal is to help our middle-income clients with their mortgage needs, grow our mortgage-licensed sales force and expand the geographic breadth of our reach. We have partnered with a leading lender and implemented the latest generation of point-of-sale technology to support our mortgage-licensed representatives in building their mortgage business. The Southeast Area Mortgage Sales Manager 1 will work closely with a growing sales force of mortgage loan representatives in Georgia and surrounding states like Alabama and Tennessee as we grow. They will achieve sales and quality goals through effectively coaching, supporting, and motivating MLOs in their region. As the go to Primerica Mortgage contact for the region, she/he will be knowledgeable in our processes, products, systems, and business model; will also become a student of the mortgage industry and eventual expert. This is an experienced financial service sales force, however most are new to the mortgage industry. Onboarding newly licensed mortgage loan originators to become confident and consistent producers, and advocates for mortgage will be the critical function of the role. This requires patience, relationship building, and a teacher’s mentality. This position will be based at the Primerica Home (corporate) Office in Duluth, GA. This position requires residing in Georgia where there is the highest concentration of MLOs. The role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration across the Company and offers opportunity for growth. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities Work closely with our national lending partner and functional areas within Primerica to support the program Support mortgage-licensed representatives to ensure loan quality and compliance standards are maintained Establish positive relationships and lead the sales activities of company affiliated mortgage licensed representatives. Execute overall market strategy to generate loan volume, market share, and profitability Advocate for Primerica Mortgage in your assigned region by educating the field, and building a positive and exciting brand amongst Primerica agents. Anticipate and work collaboratively to address challenges that may arise Provide feedback and collaborate with the broader team to enhance the business. Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures Core Competencies Maintain Ethical Culture: Ensure that meeting client needs and remaining compliant are top priorities in all undertakings Build Relationships: Develop an engaging relationship with the sales force that promotes mortgage advocacy and quality work. Proactively identify and coach strategically with top performers and under performers to elevate overall participation. Teaching: Successful candidate will have a teacher’s mentality and patience. Always seeking for better ways to effectively train and close skill gaps. Selling: Effectively execute proven company sales activities within the region to achieve sales targets. Drive Results: Demonstrate energy and a desire to succeed, follow through on commitments and inspire others to deliver exceptional results. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors Customer Experience Management: Implement the strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point Mortgage Products: Dedication to learn and develop a strong core knowledge and understanding of the mortgage industry including: products, pricing, sales, processing, trends, and regulations.
