As a Security Infrastructure Director within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be based in Phoenix, AZ with a flexible in office schedule as there will be regular in office/in person activities.This role will have oversight to PNC’s Site Reliability Center (SRC) which handles and runs incident management problems for priority issues. Using site reliability engineering (SRE) expertise, assess and provide security analytics, ensuring the security of our cloud platforms, reliability of our infrastructure and business services and the development of automation to simplify operations and eliminate or minimize service interruptions with key enterprise technologies.
You will need to be a critical thinker with an analytical mind-set to:
• Evaluate resources and tools, evolving a mature SRC that will address critical issues and reduce problem resolution time.
• Ensure system scaling in a growing financial organization.
• Use agile frameworks, knowledge of network security architecture, platform security architecture, cloud, application and middleware security architecture and identity access management architecture.
• Strong Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google or other) and response to service interruptions experience for a large, complex organization.
• Identify and implement preventive measures.
• Automate to remove toil.
• Oversite and continuous assessment of monitoring tools.
• Continue the development and details of runbooks and retrospective documents.
To succeed in this role, we prefer you have experience managing a large team within the financial industry and have a proven track record of enhancing a site reliability center.

- Directs the strategies, initiatives, policies and programs for global infrastructure development, processes and teams support and management.
- Drives infrastructure planning, development strategies and initiatives; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs.
- Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.
- Leads the development and adoption of best practices for technology architecture and management.
- Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff.
