The Chief of Staff will work directly with the Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) and their leadership team to guide the development and implementation of key initiatives that support Point B’s key business objectives and strategic goals. Primary Responsibilities include executing Point B’s business strategies by coordinating and managing the operations of initiatives/tactics to generate expected business outcomes, managing the performance of the business, and communicating and supporting that performance. This includes managing strategic projects, gathering insights that inform data driven decisions and orchestrating the Solutions leadership team rhythm of business.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Execute the Chief Solutions Officer’s agenda
Designing, executing, and managing initiatives/projects that contribute to Point B’s Solution and Corporate strategies
Managing investments and expected returns for the for the team’s initiatives
Support the annual budgeting process
Leading the issue/risk/decision management across the portfolio of initiatives
Prioritize, guide and coordinate work with leaders across the firm
Serve as a conduit to other teams across the organization including the President’s Chief of Staff and other stakeholders
Attending meetings (without CSO) to ensure continuity of messaging
Coordinates the regular review of team performance plans with continual awareness of the critical issues and business impact; provides insights into team performance
Initiates data-driven improvements to team strategy
Works with Point B’s communication and culture directors to develop and execute the team’s communication strategy in support of Point B, Inc.
Conduct research on specific topics and present back to the CSO and Senior Leadership Team to inform decisions
Supports team efforts and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams
Participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point Bers via key cross-firm meetings
Provide recommendations for action or lead discussion for additional deep dives with a focus on moving to action
Prepare agendas, engage team members, capture notes, actions and decisions and communicate across the leadership team
Plan and/or support leadership teaming sessions and retreats
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:    
B.A. or B.S. degree required. MBA preferred
Minimum of 7 years of business experience
Minimum of 2 years of internal/external consulting experience
Minimum of 2 years of managing and developing people in a delivery or business development capacity
The position requires an understanding of how to get things done in a complex organization through influence and collaboration and how to improve the way things get done through effective planning and process improvements.
Demonstrated expertise in the execution of business strategy (sales, delivery, development), employment experience, and the culture/values of the organization
Demonstrated expertise in data/analytics, tools, and ability to present compelling and unique views of information
Demonstrated ability to provide potentially challenging viewpoints
Ability to generate respect and trust from internal and external constituents
Effective at teaming and collaboration with peers, across functional areas
Strong client and business community relationships in market
Strong track record of client relationship management in delivery capacity, business development and account leadership
Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
Solid working knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning
Strong capability using technology tools to analyze, aggregate, and present data and information
