The Salesforce Developer writes custom software to work with Salesforce and other applications managed by the Business Applications Team. They manage SDLC for custom development specific to Point B’s Business Applications environment, design and build new functionality based on business requests, and collaborate with IT Systems Administrators to maximize the value of Business Application software to Point B.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Provides Tier 2 support for end users of related applications
Helps improve documentation and support material for end users
Partners with Change Management Specialist on comms and training materials
Collaborates with team members on business needs and user requirements
Designs technical solutions and implementation plans to meet requirements
Implements (SDLC) code for new functionality based on design
Tests and validates own work and others’ work
Takes an active role in an Agile team
Collaborates on projects that impact the company
Lead and provide oversight of development work with partners/vendors when needed
Manages tasks in Atlassian/JIRA
Identifies and fixes bugs, monitors and resolves system performance, facilitates ad hoc requests as requested to support business customers
Supports team effort and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values
Participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point B’ers (e.g., FW Ops meetings, Geo meetings)

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:
5 years development experience writing custom solutions in Salesforce CRM and/or FinancialForce ERP systems
Ability to code and architect using APEX, Visual Force, APIs, SOQL, SOSL
Understanding of systems architecture and expertise in designing scalable solutions
Experience integrating systems via APIs
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, coding best practices and deployment methodologies
Experience designing and building integrations with 3rd party applications
Ability to manage solution architecture design to align to business value
Exposure to Jira or similar tool and working in an Agile environment
Salesforce Developer and Administrator certifications a plus, but not required
