Senior Sales and Marketing Manager

Develop and execute a comprehensive carrier and commercial sales strategy for the Georgia market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Strong cold calling expertise, hunter mentality with at least 6 years in Telecom Sales with an excellent track record as a top performer.
- Prospect, develop, negotiate with, and close carrier and commercial accounts.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the telecom industry.
- At least 2 years of previous management/leadership experience.
- Prepare detailed client proposals.
- Proactively manage the Georgia telecom market to ensure profitability.
- Understand and provide market analysis, including the latest industry trends, challenges, and opportunities in the telecom market.
- Utilize ConnectBase to buy and sell connectivity across the PBB footprint.
- Managing the Commercial Sales team, Residential Market Development Manager, and Marketing Coordinator.
- Lead and orchestrate company resources and personnel in support of the customer relationship.
- Provide accurate weekly 30/60/90/120-day sales forecasts and other reports as required.
- Uses CRM to improve sales efforts and effectiveness and give senior management visibility.
- Other duties as needed.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry work experience and 5 years of Sales and/or Product Management experience within the telecommunications market.
- Minimum 5 years of prior customer service experience and sales management experience.
- Requires strong financial understanding, management experience and analytical skills to work through complex sales and marketing issues.
- Requires a team player attitude continuously articulated in a well-thought-out vision and communicated effectively, holding his / her team accountable.
