Job Title: Marketing Associate
Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Reports to: Alitta Boechler, Marketing Manager

PointCare’s mission is to make public health coverage work for the 75M Americans who can’t afford healthcare and don’t know how to access it properly. We do this by transforming how providers manage millions of patients annually, and we believe that fixing problems in coverage management will increase the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare for everyone.
Every day we come to the office hyper-focused on understanding public coverage and finding ways to reduce cost in our healthcare system through transparency, data, and software.
First 30 Days
During the first 30 days, you’ll focus on learning by:
- Passing our Coverage Management Masters Course
- Completing our 7-day company and industry training
- Beginning to read How to Win Friends and Influence People, Good Profit, and Meeting Suck
- Working with the marketing manager to create social media calendar and post templates
- Beginning to build relationships with customers to create marketing case studies and content
- Learning about our products, upcoming product launches, and product marketing
- Familiarize yourself with previous marketing content including videos, emails, case studies, webinars, and social media campaigns.
- Getting to know agile project methodologies
First 60 Days
In the first 60 days, you’ll begin to take action on your new knowledge as you continue to develop it:
- Develop a plan to test hypotheses to improve social media campaigns and practices
- Interview your first customer for a case study
- Reach out to professional associations for webinar and content marketing opportunities
- Learn how to create landing pages and blogs on Hubspot
- Build our social media presence through liking and sharing customer content, interacting with posts, and tagging potentially interested parties
- Begin to create marketing materials to support sales outreach efforts
First 90 Days
Within the first 90 days, you’ll move from learning to producing: :
- Source and schedule engagements or meetings for our leadership team at conferences, on podcasts, or with industry leaders and partners
- Regularly create and post content to social media
- Continually review data with leadership to maximize reach and engagement
- Make industry influencer connections
- Create your first video
Within 6 Months
By the time 6 months have gone by, you’ll be well on your way to:
- Contributing to marketing deliverables in an ongoing way
- Working with the Marketing and Product Management team to create engaging content with measurable results
- You’ll contribute in an ongoing way to:
- Social Media content and posting
- Video and blog content
- Trade show organization
- Product launch content
- Webinar creation and reach out
- Landing page creation
- Customer engagement
