Job Posting for Accounts Receivable Team Lead at Polar Beverages
**Heavy keying position, must have cash posting experience, minimum 3k transactions daily.**
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate posting of a high volume of customer payments (checks, cash, wires, and ACH transactions) and for maintaining daily reporting for these transactions. Ability to accurately cross key data between multiple systems.
- Accurately process manual miscellaneous billings, adjustments, credits, cash discounts, returned checks, and GL entries from multiple sources. Complete write-off entries and maintain write-off reporting for the finance department.
- Work closely with the AP department which includes weekly balancing of the transactions in the AR and AP systems.
- Oversee the workflow prioritization and distribution for two AR clerks and provide backup support when necessary.
- Misc. responsibilities include processing internal/external audit documentation requests and the scanning of system generated documents into the imaging system.
- Heavy keying position w/ a familiarity working with GL's
Experience:
- High School diploma required, college degree a plus. Basic accounting knowledge.
- Three years minimum AR department experience in a large volume, highly interactive, and fast paced environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective communications with the internal staff (AP, Credit, Sales & Accounting) and to proactively engage others when resolving issues. Strong high volume keying ability and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Proficiency in effectively navigating in ERP systems. AS400 ERP system experience a plus but not required.
