Responsibilities:

The Lead Operations Strategic Planner is responsible for building out strategic roadmaps. As a member of the Strategic Planning Team, this individual will work with the team members to develop roadmaps that achieve long-term business outcomes through innovative operational solutions that meet business needs and drive growth and competitive advantage. This individual will work with the team leader to shape P&D services that align with business needs and drive the necessary process, people, and technology changes in supporting business needs.

• Work with the Strategic Planning team members to understand business strategies, challenges and drivers of competitive advantage.
• Work with the Strategic Planners to develop plans/roadmaps for complex products that align Program strategies with operational services.
• Work with the team leader to develop a P&D 3-5 year plan for supporting and driving competitive advantage for the SBUs
• Develop action plans to successfully execute strategic roadmap
• Develop metrics to measure the success of action plans
• Continually seek new opportunities to drive innovation and growth in the business
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking
• Expertise in developing strategic roadmaps that are executable and measurable
• Results orientation
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences across the organization
• Effective data driven decision making
• Ability to critically analyze problems, anticipate changes and alter course as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, operations management, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
• Master’s degree in business, education, operations management or related field preferred
• At least 8 years’ experience in operations business management and strategic roadmap development
