Industrial Supervisor

We are seeking a competent and experienced Industrial Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Industrial Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of production processes. This role involves managing a team of production workers, monitoring production output, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the production floor.
• Manage and direct a team of production workers, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and meet production targets.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Train and develop employees on new processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to resolve issues and improve overall production output.
• Maintain inventory levels and oversee the ordering of materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Prepare production reports and metrics for management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
