What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Revenue Operations Analyst position at POLITICO?
As a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing our revenue operations processes. Collaborating with various teams across the organization, you will provide strategic insights by utilizing advanced analytics to uncover key insights and trends, enabling our sales teams to make informed decisions and drive revenue growth. Your process-oriented approach will drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices in territory management, goal setting, and compensation tracking to enhance the effectiveness of our sales, revenue operations and finance teams.
What You'll Do:
- Designing and Developing Robust Reporting: Create, develop, and deliver comprehensive reports on ACV performance, retention, upsell rates, and strategic growth initiatives, providing valuable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- KPI Management: Serve as a key contact for sales leaders, managing both standard and complex requests related to key performance indicators (KPIs), and executing solutions that drive informed decision-making.
- Automation and Optimization: Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through the automation and optimization of reporting processes and data sources, leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls for sales quota assignment, tracking, and adjustment management processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Salesforce Support: Provide timely support to sales representatives and managers by responding to cases submitted through Salesforce, addressing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration and Analysis: Leverage your technical expertise to collaborate with the Salesforce admin team, representing Salesforce issues for system enhancements and maintenance. Analyze reports and data to help sales leaders understand the drivers of their business, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with peers in finance, product, technology and other parts of the business to streamline analytical functions and outputs, driving alignment and efficiency across the organization.
What You'll Need:
- 4 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in revenue, business, or sales operations.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred or other CRM systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas and information in a concise, organized way.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- The ability to organize large amounts of data and communicate actionable insights to all levels in the business.
- Intermediate Excel experience.
- Possess an analytical and agile mindset with a strong ability to think critically.
- Comfort with complexity, ambiguity and change.
