About The Role

As a Drafter for Poll Sound, you will be responsible for producing documentation for our projects. You will work with our expert engineers and sales personnel to put their vision and projects on paper in a way that is easy for our skilled technicians to understand and satisfies the contractual needs of our clients.

An Ideal Candidate would be:

Someone that has experience in or a passion for the audio-visual arts and entertainment industry. This person would have prior experience as a drafter with demonstratable skills or would be a college graduate from an accredited drafting program that is looking to grow with us.

Your Job Duties

· Produces one lines for systems.​

· Rack layout drawings.​

· As-built drawings​.

· Submittal drawings.

· Operating Manuals and Spec Sheet documentation.

· Coordination drawings.​

· Seismic bracing drawings.​

· Plate Cut Sheets

· Works closely with project engineers, managers, and estimators throughout project.

Skills & Qualifications

· Experience with at least two of the following:

o Vectorworks

o AutoCAD

o Sketchup

· Experience with or a willingness to learn Autodesk’s REVIT

· BlueBeam Revu

· Microsoft Suite of programs experience. (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

· Amazing computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

· Basic understanding of Audio-Visual systems.

· Detail Oriented and Organized

· AFMG - EASE 5

· L-Acoustics - SoundVision

· D&B – ArrayCalc

· Stardraw AV
