What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at Pollen?
We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our rapidly growing Global Creative Studio. This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and evolve the voice of a global brand across multiple platforms with a special focus on online and offline brand presence as well as campaign messaging.

We’re on a growth journey to increase our creative output and expand our market influence in the next 12 months. This role plays a crucial part in that goal and will be key in defining the strategy and course of the brand as well as concepting and writing of influential brand messaging. The Senior Copywriter will work closely with the Global VP of Creative Studio and Global Creative Director to build the brand’s voice and copy standards across all touchpoints to establish Pollen as the leading consumer brand for experiences.
In the first 12 months you will:
- Partner with the Global VP of Creative Studio and Creative Director to build the brand book for style, voice, tone and messaging to be used across all products, comms, CRM and social channels.
- Develop messaging for online/offline marketing campaigns and activations, making sure the brand voice is consistent in all applications across all platforms.
- Recruit exceptional talent as needed, act as a thought leader, inspire and mentor the creative team to continuously strive for excellence.
- Collaborate with the insights team to analyze and test the audience and craft effective messaging for different audiences.
- Develop a master brief; one that clarifies the north star goal of the work and unlocks the power of creative energy.
- Ideate, write and develop concepts for multiple purposes; from promoting the brand, to promoting its products or exploring brand extensions in different formats.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Creative Production to build workflows and systems for copy production.
- Collaborate with growth teams to incorporate consumer behavior and SEO into concepts and executions.
- Ensure internal and external communications are produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
- Provide training and mentorship to new hires in the copywriting team as well as being a thought leader in the department.
