Pomeroy is currently recruiting for a IT Support Tech in the Elizabethtown, KY area. This is a 12 month contract opportunity that will be supporting our client a leader in the manufacturing industry. This position has full time benefits. This person will provide Level 2 end user support and also be the jack of all trades support person working with another person.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolution of desktop and network issues for a wide range of client system and network environments
  • Maintain and manage client systems and networks in a manner that provides value to the client as an IT technology partner and consultant
  • Software Application management, maintenance and consulting
  • Provide recommendations for workflow and productivity enhancement.
  • Work as part of a team to design, implement and support the client’s network, representing a wide range of industries and technology.
  • Network Security management, including VPN administration and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Documentation of support procedures, and network configurations
  • Provide local and remote administration of client IT infrastructure including Server, security, networking, storage systems, and desktops
  • Perform all Tiers of support with the ability to escalate in an efficient manner, as needed
  • Configure and maintain and manage business continuity and disaster recovery platforms
  • Work with the Engineering to design and implement network and application solutions
  • Research new trends and technologies leading to testing and justification for deployment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
