EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent is required. College or trade degree is preferred. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and co-workers.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum two to three years’ experience in reservations, front desk, guest services, and/or call center sales experience
· One to two years’ experience supervising and coaching a team within a professional work environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate knowledge of the English language. Strong selling, persuasion, decision-making skills.
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, SpringerMiller PMS, Revinate/Navis ACD system, Salesforce (Delphi), Onyx and IHotelier (Amadeus) is a plus
· Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States .
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
The ability to work and communicate well with others in a professional manner. Logical, rational decision-making capabilities are required.
JOB SUMMARY:
Support the Director of Revenue & Reservation Sales in leading the reservation team including reservation audits, call monitoring/scoring, assist with reservation related training, involvement with hotel inventory and attend/lead hotel
reservation related meetings. Assist with providing phone coverage including additional departmental support and duties as assigned by management. Act as department liaison in absence of senior management. Monitor and review group inventory/controls and ensure accuracy on details of all reservations including guest requests/preference, profile notes and over sight of CRM details.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to lift small packages and boxes up to approximately 25 pounds and sustain a seated position for extended periods; engage guest’s face to face, willingness to escort guests to and from a guest room/ property amenities for the purpose of inspection.
