Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Data Management Specialist for our corporate headquarters in Covington, LA. This position focuses on data creation and maintenance of business data in the ERP system (Prelude) or PIM system (inRiver). The Data Management Specialist ensures the accuracy of business data by applying business data rules, polices and procedures during the data creation and maintenance process.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains product master records throughout the product lifecycle.
- Creates new vendors and maintains vendor costs and assignments.
- Collaborates with broader pricing team for maintaining mark ups and discount structure.
- Analyzes data change requests from the organization and effectively communicates resolution. Escalates requests as needed.
- Works with inventory managers to reconcile AP discrepancies.
- Completes analysis of data for accuracy and consistency across multiple locales.
- Maintains established quality and accuracy goals per departmental policies.
- Independently make decisions as necessary to meet team and individual performance objectives with a continual improvement in performance.
- Participate in projects and completes other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
- Strong customer service skills which include setting expectations and communication.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Prior use of collaboration software is required.
- Experience with Epicor Prelude or other ERP system.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service Hub or other Customer Service software.
- Experience working with inriver or other Product Information Management (PIM) systems is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Post high-school education/degree preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in customer service and data management.
- Swimming Pool industry is preferred.
