Job brief
A Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is an experienced restaurant leader that is dedicated to driving operational excellence through a memorable Guest experience. RGMs lead by example and provide guidance in their restaurant to all Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers. RGMs are people-people who are passionate about helping their teams learn and grow every day. RGMs are responsible for onboarding new members of the team and maintaining a positive work environment by cultivating a positive restaurant culture. RGMs are their restaurant's Popeyes® brand champion and inspire their teams to deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served up with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day operations
2. Design strategy and set goals for growth
3. Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
4. Set policies and processes
5. Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
6. Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
7. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
8. Direct the employee assessment process
9. Prepare regular reports for upper management
10. Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
11. Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements

1. 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
2. Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
3. Ability to prioritize own and others' work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
4. Demonstrated leadership skills
5. Demonstrated understanding of Guest service principles
6. Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
7. Problem-solving aptitude
8. BSc/BA or MSc/MA in Business or relevant field is a plus
