Purpose:
Manage organization operations by directing and coordinating activities, goals, objectives, and policies within the Distribution, Logistics, and Customer Service departments in accordance with company’s policies, procedures, vision and brand experience. Implements programs to ensure attainment of inventory, logistics, and customer service goals throughout the company. Work with the General Manager to improve daily workflow and provide training and development to current staff. Participates in developing and implementing policy and strategic plans as required.
Essential Duties:
- Requires over 5 years relevant experience in operations, preferably including distribution experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office and versatility to operate different software packages.
- SAP experience and WMS systems a plus.
- Must be detail oriented and results driven.
- Sound analytical and communication skills required, as well as commitment to finding solutions for internal/external customers.
- Must be effective in selecting, training, motivating and leading personnel.
- Ability to analyze, report and develop/implement recommendations for improved efficiencies in processes and procedures.
General Description:
- Compiles data and reports as required.
- Furnishes information acting on management directions.
- Supports compliance associated with certain national agreements and promotional programs.
- Provide operational assistance to accounting, as required to resolve issues with returns.
- Generate codes for new product in system
- Upload codes from factory for new products
- Reconciles discrepancies in product shipment from factory
- Other special projects as assigned.
Salary : $64,900 - $82,200
