A subsidiary of Port City Air, Air New England is an established and growing Part 135 flight operation based in Portsmouth, NH.
We are a safety-first, family oriented Part 135 operation. Pilots need to be of the same mind-set! We are a single-pilot Part 135 operator, but often schedule dual pilots if the need arises due to busy airports, weather, passenger load, etc.
We have an open position for a Full-Time Pilot. We fly locally most days but there may be a couple days a month that an overnight stop is required. We currently fly Beechcraft Baron, King Air C-90, and currently adding a Citation Mustang to the fleet. We do fly on holidays and weekends if requested

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-flight checks of aircraft, fuel, weather and more
- Navigating and flying aircraft
- In-flight monitoring
- Communicating with air traffic control
- Post-flight checks
- Plan, execute, and manage domestic and international trips as PIC, leading the flight crew
- Perform to the highest standards and comply with regulations, aircraft manufacturer limitations and guidance, and company policies and procedures
- Customer Service
- Administrative duties as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS:

- 3000 Total Hours Minimum (Required)
- 500 Hours Cross-Country
- 100 Hours Night Cross-Country
- 100 Hours Combined Hood, IMC * Must be IFR current
- 800 Hours Multi-Engine (Required)
- ATP Rating Preferred but not Required
- Second-Class Medical
- Commercial Certificate with Instrument
- Multi-Engine and Single-Engine Ratings
- Part 135 Experience a plus
- Must work well with a team
- Must be capable of flying single-pilot (Required)
- Must be Customer Service driven
- King Air, Baron, and Jet experience is a plus!
- Be home in your own bed most nights! Trips are largely day trips.
- Flexible schedule, we take care to ensure proper legal rest times for all pilots. Your days might be up to 14 hours on occasion and will result in adequate rest time after. Days off may not always be consecutive.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be physically capable of safely working with and around various types of equipment
- Must be physically capable of lifting 25 lbs overhead.
- Must be physically capable of sitting or standing for long periods.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Subject to routine drug and alcohol screenings.
- Must pass the FAA and Homeland Security background checks as well as complete a pre-employment drug screening.
