Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Provisioning, the Coordinator, AOG will ensure an uninterrupted flow of aircraft parts & tools to the operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately process all purchase, repair, exchange, and loan orders to ensure an uninterrupted flow of aircraft parts to the operation, ensuring that vendors meet the agreed turnaround time
- Source and negotiate the most cost-effective options to support Porter’s Technical Operations, ensuring that all materials procured meet company and regulatory bodies standards for quality
- Coordinate Line Maintenance, AOG, and Heavy Maintenance requirements and communicate among the various teams involved to ensure that parts are sourced accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor Purchasing Inbox for part requests, and order as required
- Disposition of unserviceable parts as scrap, repair or replacement
- Collaborate with Stores to process Material Return Authorizations for parts that are quarantined/snagged
- Assist with maintenance and updating of “AOG Contact” list
- Maintain proper documentation as required by the pooling program
- Create sales and rental orders to assist other operators who are AOG for part requirements
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently under little supervision while handling multiple time-sensitive requests
- Review vendor competencies and ensure that procured parts have required certifications
- Maintain records and files according to the company’s policy, including vendor audit forms
- Proactively work on clarifications and discrepancies with all stakeholders as they occur
- Other duties as assigned
- This role will be a part of our 24 hour coverage and scheduled for shift work (4 on 4 off)

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is an asset
- Previous experience with AMOS and RAAS an asset
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
