Porterie Tax Solutions is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season. If you have an active PTIN, we would love to connect with you! If not, we will provide training and assist with obtaining your PTIN!

• You are passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, and you’re committed to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
• You possess excellent customer service skills, and you are excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident

Job Details:

• Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses;
• Advise against potential tax liabilities;
• Recommend additional products and services;
• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures;
• Prepare individual & corporate tax returns;
• Verify totals on past forms for accuracy;
• Resolve customer complaints;
• Ensure a copy of the completed return is provided to the customer;
• Ensure clients do not pay unnecessary taxes;
• Uncover potential deductions and credits;
• Interview clients to get a thorough picture of financial situation;
• Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns;
• Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software;
• Compute taxes owed by following tax code;
• Calculate and invoice for form preparation fees.

Requirements:

• Has an entrepreneurial drive;
• Is committed to fostering and maintaining a service culture;
• Has exceptional organizational and time management skills;
• Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn tax software

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
