To tackle this expansive mission, you’ll collaborate with a team of dreamers and doers from around the world, leveraging Mach49’s unique methodology and network, with the chance to spin off into an independent company that will continue crafting change. Depending on your expertise, you may be creating new ventures, determining promising startups to invest in, hosting events and venture competitions, or building and managing the engine that will drive our client’s vision.

Who We Need

Support our clients through participant recruiting, research logistics, and providing strategic assets as needed to facilitate a seamless research experience. Educate team partners on the recruiting strategy and process. Partner closely with the Venture Incubate teams. 

What You’ll Deliver

• Successful participant recruiting and scheduling (sometimes re-scheduling)  throughout the venture building  experience for a NVT
• Create greater efficiency for the Venture Team by finding targeted participants, providing the right research assets at the right time, and teaching best practices for participant recruiting
• Development of an extensive participant database and list of recruiters and facilities to be used in future projects
• You will have succeeded if there is no “down time” in the participant schedule for the Team.

What You Bring

• Expert social media skills, particularly with LinkedIn and Networking sites
• Expert ability to find hard to reach subject matter experts (SME’s) and busy individuals to participate in venture research
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal, as well as effective interpersonal skills
• Attention to details with ability to automate process where necessary
• Ability to follow up on open items with minimal supervision
• Proven skills as a creative problem solver, particularly in the use of technology and social media to identify potential research participants
• Experience in maintaining a database with high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of AirTable is a plus, Google Sheets and Excel a must!
• Experience in Design and Marketing in technology startups, Global 1000 marketing and design departments, or independent creative agencies.
• A good understanding of visual design, including branding, visual hierarchy, grid systems, and typography.
• A curious mind and the ability to naturally make connections between diverse fields and industries.
• A deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Clear and persuasive written and oral communication style.
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a very fast-paced, multi-task, collaborative environment.
• A positive attitude, resilience, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to contribute to strong team dynamics.
• Ability to work effectively with a range of different organizations and people at all levels.
• Willing to be flexible and work when the work is needed, sometimes at odd hours (there are lots of peaks and valleys during an incubation).
• A passion for resolving user pain points through great design.
• An open mind when it comes to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• A passion for all things Design, UX, and innovation.
• A willingness to do what it takes to make Mach49 and client teams successful – there is no job too big or too small.
• The ability to research, showcase, and apply knowledge on the industry’s latest trends and technologies.

What We Require

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in the following design programs:
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Keynote / PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Miro
  • Slack
  • G-Suite
• Nice-to-have technical skills:
  • Video editing
  • Animation
  • Balsamiq
  • Invision
  • Figma
  • Webflow
• Working knowledge of digital front-end processes is a huge plus, but not required.
