Auto Glass Technician

Position Overview:

Portland Glass, a Neighborly Company, is looking for an Auto Glass Technician to join our team! Our Auto Glass Techs are responsible for repairing or replacing cracked, chipped, or damaged automotive glass. We are a proud team of uniformed experts who are known in the glass industry as highly skilled and trusted to do the job right.

**Pay based on experience!**

Primary Responsibilities:

• Repair or replace of windshields and the replacement of glass on vehicles
• Installation of auto glass parts, flat glass cutting and installation
• Explain the windshield repair process
• Continuous learning of the latest products and procedures in Auto Glass Repair, Replacement and Calibration to meet safety regulations
• Interact with customers by explaining the work which will be performed on their vehicles
• Ensure all equipment, materials and areas of operation are in a safe working order
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own.

Required Attributes:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computers, mobile devices and related technology efficiently
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Sense of humor.
• Selected applicants are subject to, and must pass, a background check and drug screen, per applicable state laws.

Education & Experience:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Helpful to have experience in the automotive industry

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
