QA Supervisor

Silgan has assembled a product suite of popular sizes and colors using requested formats providing a broad range of products in small quantities.. Principally responsible for all inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) at the plant. Responsible for the installation, maintenance and calibration of all IMTE. Responsible to document the proper operation of IMTE and the training of affected personnel. Responsible to perform Gage R&R analysis to prove capability of each IMTE and inspector. This responsibility extends to the reporting of Inspection & Test results interdepartmentally and externally to the customer. Perform part inspection and testing utilizing the appropriate IMTE. Use standardized formats for reporting results and methods utilized. Ability to review data trends and recommend preventive action. The essential functions of the position are: (1) perform inspections, (2) administer the NCR system including managing held inventory and coordinating sorting operations, (3) administer the document control system, (4) generate and distribute company CoAs, (5) review and file all supplier CoAs General functions of the position are to support the plant Quality Manager in the deployment, administration and maintenance of the Food Safety System and the Quality System. General employee responsibilities include adherence to all safety requirements and signage, as well as those requirements outlined in the Employee Manual.
