What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Assistant position at Portside Luxury LLC?
Design Assistant in busy luxury outdoor furniture showroom. Portside Luxury is a dealer of high end outdoor furniture servicing an affluent clientele locally on the NJ shore and nation-wide. We service luxury home owners as well as interior designers and other members of the design, build, and hospitality trades by assisting with designing their outdoor project and supplying product options from our wide range of sources. We are looking for a bright, energetic, ORGANIZED individual proficient in using google slides to assist head designer in creating client presentations, taking good notes in client meetings, organizing and maintaining the vast library of brand catalogs, fabric and finish samples. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a client-facing environment, maintain a tidy appearance in accordance with a luxury brand's image, and be good with following up. The hours are in person in the showroom on weekdays beginning at 9am until 5pm and include opening up the showroom at the start of the day and closing and locking up the showroom at the end of the day and making sure it is neat and clean for the next business day.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
