As a Technical Support Specialist at POS.com, you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT and POS systems and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our clients. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT and POS industry and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT and POS systems.
· Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
· Assist in the training of end-users on system usage.
· Collaborate with the senior technical team to complete projects and tasks.
· Assist in inventory management and tracking of IT and POS equipment.
· Perform routine system checks and updates.
· Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and technical procedures.
· Provide after-hours support on a weekly rotation basis.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software.
· Basic Knowledge of network setup and troubleshooting.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
· Prior experience in IT or POS support is a plus but not required.
