Summary
The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing HR assistant duties on a professional level and works closely with EVP of HR, regional recruiters (LA, MS, CT, NJ). We are looking for a dynamic HR assistant to help facilitate the company’s hiring process. In this role, you’ll support the human resources department with recruitment duties and ensure that all recruitment procedures run smoothly. In addition, you will assist the EVP of HR in organizing all employee engagement events to help improve our employee branding retention and retention rate. To guarantee success in this position, the ideal candidate should exhibit strong organizational skills with a deep understanding of general administrative functions. As we are in a fast-paced environment, the top candidate should be comfortable multitasking and assisting in different projects when necessary.
The HR team works collaboratively together in supporting the achievement of creating an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide assistance to the EVP of HR organizing HR events (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly)
- Assist with planning and presentation of special events
- Administer and communicate on HR sponsored programs
- Provide assistance to the Recruiters on scheduling interviews and all administrative tasks involved in the recruitment process
- Perform recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, updating the calendar, accordingly, answering phone calls, and monitoring emails
- Resolve issues such as interview cancellations swiftly
- Perform the duties of the HR Generalist in the absence of the HR Generalist
- Schedule meetings when needed
- Keep and send reminder deadlines to the different stakeholders
- Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping HR information strictly confidential
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred or in a relevant field
- 2 to 5 years clerical experience in Human Resources preferred
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
