What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Coordinator position at PosiGen?
Essential Job Functions
- Research and document the permit process and other AHJ information for the areas that the installations are located
- Track outstanding documents needed to obtain permit
- Track jurisdiction specific requirements and provide that information to the team
- Prepares documents to secure permit
- Partner with utility contacts to obtain permits
- Work with local jurisdictions to move toward ideal permitting conditions
- Obtain permits from local government offices
- Pick up completed permit packages
- Identify permit bottlenecks, document, and create solutions for quick turnaround times

Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience obtaining permits at the local level, preferably in the utility or construction industry
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
