Market Research Analyst Summary:
Job Description: Post Brothers, a world-class, vertically-integrated multifamily real estate developer, is seeking a Market Research Analyst to support the Acquisitions team with territory-specific market studies related to acquisitions. The Analyst will use impeccable sales-related and analytical skills to independently embark on understanding markets in which Post Brothers is interested in investing. The Analyst will have the autonomy to spend ample time in the field meeting with brokers and property owners as well as touring properties. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity in which the Analyst will utilize an array of resources to create a comprehensive market analysis and find future investment opportunities for Post Brothers. Candidates should enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, and fast-paced environment and should have a desire to be external-facing.
Reports To: Director of Acquisitions, Chief Investment Officer
Pay: $20/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Touring properties independently
- Call and/or meet with leasing and investment sales brokers
- Supplementing property-level research findings with information available online including public records
- Create and maintain ongoing market research database including mapping new opportunities and competitive properties
Requirements:
- Comfort with undertaking sales and sales-related tasks is essential
- Warm, professional and outgoing personality
- Ability to take frequent day trips to other markets requiring an approximately 2-hour commute by train from Philadelphia
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to strict deadlines
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to perform in a busy, multi-tasking work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
