Job Overview
Potomac Haven is a woman- and minority-owned small business seeking a cadre of highly experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a team serving the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Division Family Violence Division. The division administers, monitors and managements grants funded under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and FVPSA, the primary federal funding stream dedicated to the support of emergency shelter and related assistance for victims of domestic violence and their children.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Research and build an opportunity pipeline by leveraging marketing intelligence tools, contracting vehicles (GSA STARS III, Multiple Award Schedule, Navy SeaPort NextGen) and SBA 8(a) small business set-asides; daily alerts available.
- Evaluate procurement forecasts, gather insights and build connections. List of target customers and service capabilities will be provided.
- Develop, implement marketing campaigns -- both tactical and strategic.
- Develop custom and targeted capability statement to fit the target market requirement. Distribute and follow-up with target contacts.
- Assist with other capture management and proposal development initiatives.
- Miscellaneous/ad-hoc administrative tasks to meet the business needs.
Basic Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in US federal contracting work is critical. Alternatively, must possess experience working for a federal contracting firm.
- Experience in marketing intelligence, capture management, and sales functions desired.
- Excellent communications (both written and spoken), including customer service (customer engagement).
