Summer: Golf Shop Personnel

Job Status: Seasonal

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $15.00 to $15.50 , actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
  
• Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

Handle the daily operations of the Golf Shop in accordance with the policies and objectives of Copper Creek Golf Course.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The daily opening and closing of the Copper Creek Golf Shop
• Using RTP (Copper Mountain's sales system) to collect greens fees, carts fees, merchandise fees, etc.
• Using RTP to run closing reports
• Answering telephone calls to schedule tee times and take care of any other guests' needs
• Assist in keeping tee sheet up to date, pairing up twosomes, etc.
• Enforcing Copper Creeks policies when it comes to greens fees, cart fees, tee time booking restrictions and others.
• Maintaining the neat and orderly appearance of the Golf Shop, to include daily vacuuming
• Assisting in the unpacking, pricing, display and inventory of Golf Shop merchandise.
• Act at all times in a manner that will make our guests feel important and welcome.
• Keeping Rental clubs organized, clean and inventoried.
• Wearing a clean Golf Club uniform and name tag while on duty.
• Performing any other duties relating to the Golf Course, as may be assigned by the Golf Shop Supervisor, Shop Foreman or Golf Course Manager

Basic Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to enunciate English clearly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for eight (8) hours.
• Must have good communication skills.

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

• Previous experience with RTP (Copper Mountain's point of sales system)
• Experience in Retail and/or Guest Services
• Knowledge of and an interest in the game of golf
• A personality conducive to dealing with the public.
