Biological Resources Field Coordinator- On Site
POWER Engineers’ Environmental Division provides natural resources planning, field survey, permitting, and engineering services to clients worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated Biological Resources Coordinator with experience in the logistics and coordination of conducting biological pre-construction clearance surveys and biological construction monitoring for a full-time temporary position with our Rocky Mountain Biology Department.
The position would be devoted to the successful completion of the NV Energy Greenlink West Transmission Project based on -site in Las Vegas, Nevada with the potential to shift location as the projects progresses.
Roles and Responsibilities
The primary focus for this Biological Resources Field Coordinator role will be to assist the Lead Project Biologist and coordinate with Field Leads to organize and execute biological pre-construction clearance surveys and biological monitoring efforts specific to the NV Energy Greenlink West Transmission Project. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and responsive professional, with strong communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
· Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams which could include field biologists, engineers, and permitting and environmental specialists.
· Assisting in effective team collaboration with internal and external teams through project execution.
· Assisting Field Leads and the lead Project biologist with coordination of staff, schedules, and operational needs in support of biological pre-construction surveys and biological construction monitors.
· Performing natural resources field surveys or compliance inspections as needed.
Required Education/Experience
· B.A. or M.S. in biology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field of study
· Successfully coordinating multiple field crews at one time
· Five (5) years in the consulting business with construction compliance experience
· Knowledge and demonstrated expertise in federal and state environmental policy and regulation is required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, defining and understanding client requirements, and managing expectations
· Ability to use various organization and management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet, One Note, and Excel

Base Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
