We are looking for an enthusiastic and growth minded Sales Associate to drive the customer experience at our East Meadow location. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail sales and a working knowledge of outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, generators, pressure washers, and more. The Sales Associate will work with the Store Manager on enhancing customer satisfaction, meeting sales and profitability goals, and managing inventory effectively:
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service. Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including regular stock checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Stay up-to-date on knowledge of products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Work Conditions:
- Applicants must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors in all elements
- Applicants must be able to tolerate physical effort including the handling of objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Able to safely work with a wide variety of equipment
- Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

Requirements
- Proven retail sales experience.
- Working knowledge of outdoor power equipment, their operation, and maintenance requirements.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Familiar with MS Office Suite/Google workspace with experience in CRM/ERP software a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Customer management skills; able to understand and respond to customer needs.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
