Power Fast Construction Supply, a small family-run B2B retailer providing construction tools, supplies, and equipment since 1985, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads and turn them into opportunities for sales.
- Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, using referrals etc.
- Present our company to potential clients in a personable, friendly, and professional manner.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers, building our company brand.
- Understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
- Constantly update your knowledge of our product offerings and the construction industry.
- Operate company vehcile daily.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of outside sales experience.
- 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- General and specific product knowledge in the construction industry is a must.
- Willingness to continually learn new products, their functions, and their uses.
- Ability to work independently and still strive for company success.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Clean driving record (we do run a consented driver's license check).
We offer a starting salary of $60,000 and commission on final sales (would total $100,000 1st year), with room for improvement on both based on performance and reliability.
