MECHANICAL ENGINEER 

 

Job Summary 

This position is responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and designing. 

 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Create 3D CAD models & 2D manufacturing drawing for production and product design
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
  • Work with engineers or other personnel as a team to accomplish projects assigned in a timely fashion
  • Research, design, evaluate new engineering & manufacturing technologies to cater increasing demands
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to identify form, fit & function of  assemblies and individual parts
  • Support production, QC, and machinists for manufacturing needs
  • Maintain and evaluate engineering equipment

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, Geomagic for modeling
  • Experience in using Laser scanning equipment for Reverse Engineering is preferable
    • (Faro or GOM blue light scanner)
  • Proficient in MS office product
  • Good time management and product management skills
  • Strong understanding of engineering principle and Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to provide hands on approach to problem solving
  • Steam turbines & Gas turbines experience is a plus

 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
