Responsible for ensuring embroidery products are developed/produced successfully, in accordance with all job and/or customer
specifications. Supports the Embroidery Lead and Operators for efficient manufacturing of branded print/embroidered merchandise
that meets the quality standards of Powertex as well as our customers.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Read and fully understand the Job Traveler prior to beginning work
  • Provide and demonstrate knowledge, experience, and support for embroidery-related finishing procedures
  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of all finishing activities in Embroidery. This would include material handling, trimming, finishing, packaging, labeling, quality assurance and closing paperwork
  • Ensures finishing of product is produced to internal and customer standards. Seeks approval as required
  • Maintains production counts and tracks any product flaws for the Embroidery Lead to assess
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve embroidery related issues in a timely fashion
  • Reports maintenance related issues/concerns to the Embroidery Lead and/or Production Supervisor so they can request service via MaintainX software
  • Plays an active role in assisting the operator with routine preventative maintenance as outlined/required for the machine
  • Alert Embroidery Lead and/or Production Supervisor when embroidery supplies are at or near reorder levels
  • Shows an active desire to learn and understand how to properly set up and run embroidery machinery to assist with backing up department staffing. Works towards becoming an Embroidery Operator
  • Supports company Ethos in our daily work environment
  • Maintain professionalism in all communication and actions when working with internal and external customers
  • Works to meet expectations as it relates to the quality and output of goods to meet internal expectations
  • Follows all safety protocol, uses the appropriate PPE where required and ensures the support team is also in compliance
  • Ensures housekeeping standards are met and maintained in the immediate work area(s)
  • Supports all Lean efforts
  • Supports improvement opportunities and is willing to offer suggestions/continuous improvement ideas as it relates to embroidery operations
  • Performs other duties as requested
Qualifications and requirements:
  • Previous embroidery and/or garment screen printing manufacturing experience desirable
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred skills:
  • Understanding of manufacturing process, procedures, and safe working practices
  • High attention to detail and the proven ability to follow direction
  • Professionalism in communication
  • Exercise good judgment in work methods
  • Demonstrates good skills in organization and communication
  • Desire to incorporate company Ethos into the foundation of our daily activities
Additional information:
  • This position requires working from a standing position with frequently lifting <25lbs, kneeling, crouching, twisting and bending.
  • This is a full-time position. Benefits are available the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
