Job Posting for Embroidery Associate at Powertex Group
Responsible for ensuring embroidery products are developed/produced successfully, in accordance with all job and/or customer
specifications. Supports the Embroidery Lead and Operators for efficient manufacturing of branded print/embroidered merchandise
that meets the quality standards of Powertex as well as our customers.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Read and fully understand the Job Traveler prior to beginning work
Provide and demonstrate knowledge, experience, and support for embroidery-related finishing procedures
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of all finishing activities in Embroidery. This would include material handling, trimming, finishing, packaging, labeling, quality assurance and closing paperwork
Ensures finishing of product is produced to internal and customer standards. Seeks approval as required
Maintains production counts and tracks any product flaws for the Embroidery Lead to assess
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve embroidery related issues in a timely fashion
Reports maintenance related issues/concerns to the Embroidery Lead and/or Production Supervisor so they can request service via MaintainX software
Plays an active role in assisting the operator with routine preventative maintenance as outlined/required for the machine
Alert Embroidery Lead and/or Production Supervisor when embroidery supplies are at or near reorder levels
Shows an active desire to learn and understand how to properly set up and run embroidery machinery to assist with backing up department staffing. Works towards becoming an Embroidery Operator

Maintain professionalism in all communication and actions when working with internal and external customers
Works to meet expectations as it relates to the quality and output of goods to meet internal expectations
Follows all safety protocol, uses the appropriate PPE where required and ensures the support team is also in compliance
Ensures housekeeping standards are met and maintained in the immediate work area(s)
Supports all Lean efforts
Supports improvement opportunities and is willing to offer suggestions/continuous improvement ideas as it relates to embroidery operations
