Description - External
The Campaign Marketing Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Tech Strategy & Operations, will work across all PPD marketing verticals, overseeing workflow for business-aligned campaigns and projects in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the communication and coordination of marketing plans/campaign plans across all marketing verticals to ensure quality, on-time, on-budget campaign execution.
- Provides day-to-day work guidance to the teams to drive team accountability, which may include internal agency employees, vendors/contractors, and hired consultants.
- Organizes, plans, and leads campaign and project status meetings; documents project summary; and provides Strategic Marketing/Account Based Marketing ongoing updates concerning campaign and project completion.
- Works hand-in-hand with Strategic Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Content, Creative, and Marketing Technology & Operations for campaign execution.
- Responsible for tracking project budget and managing fiscal performance to plan; ensures campaign and project costs are controlled and carefully monitored
- Monitors out-of-scope requests and initiates additional estimates and approvals.
- Maintains full ownership of operational aspects of campaign and project execution and reporting in project management tool, ensuring that work is on time and on budget.
- Liaises with business leaders to manage the kick-off and successful execution and completion of projects identified in campaign briefs.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Effectively manages multidisciplinary teams, which may consist of creatives, technologists, media experts, data analysts, etc.
- Champion quality and integrity of deliverables.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Collaborates with counterparts and leverages project management systems to prioritize work and resource assignments.

Project Management skills
- Proficient in Project Management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Outlook, Word/PowerPoint, Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
- Team oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from multiple marketing verticals
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Organized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
- Agile marketing project management knowledge and skills
Leadership skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team, experience in large corporate setting, and/or CRO/Life Sciences a plus
- Proven leadership in “managing by objective”
- A strong facilitator, seasoned in active listening techniques
Professional skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Executive presence, professional manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management and adapt to business needs
- Collaborative working style to build relationships, including collaborating with multiple business marketing teams, technology teams, sales, and vendors
- Prefer agency experience (in-house or external agency).
- Certification - Project Management a plus
