What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at PPG Careers Careers?
As an HR Generalist, you will work with HR Managers to provide HR administrative support in recruitment, employee relations, organizational change, and talent management, as well as administrative support at our Cleveland OH location! Key Responsibilities
- Process all employment status changes for new hires and existing employees including tracking pre-employment screening information, and processing unemployment in a timely manner.
- Maintain personnel files and correct Oracle data integrity information for all regional locations; provide administrative support as required to People Operations Partners.
- Complete monthly reporting including turnover, HR metrics, headcount, hours worked, and reconcile monthly invoices and purchasing card.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of demonstrable experience in a HR administrative role.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- Proficiency in HRM software, such as Workday and Taleo, in addition to Kronos is preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to appropriately handle confidential information and maintain composure under pressure.
