What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at PPG Industries?
As a Graphic Designer at PPG, you will develop and execute product brand strategies within multiple markets. You will focus on dictating the design of product and point of sale experiences.
You will work a hybrid schedule and report directly to the Art Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Design print and digital creative to support marketing efforts for multiple brands across different channels within the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
- Collaborate with the creative team and project leads to develop creative solutions for in-store merchandising, promotions and packaging.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), have proficiency in both Mac and Windows environments.
- Understand the print production timeline and process.
- Communicate design concepts through presentations and proposals.
- Work with and understand the print production timeline and process.
- Ensure brand consistency and strategy across multiple marketing materials in multiple channels.
Qualifications
- Portfolio required upon the application process.
- Associates related degree required.
- 1 years of experience/internships within a graphic design field.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in both Mac and PC environments. Experience with HTML, WordPress and motion graphics necessary.
